Family terms

For parents, guardians and students who use the family portal, the app, or a studio's website and store.

Last updated October 19, 2026. Provided by FrontRow Software LLC.

1. About these terms

These terms are between you and FrontRow Software LLC ("FrontRow", "we", "us"). They apply when you use FrontRow to deal with a studio: the family portal, the FrontRow app, or a studio's website, registration, store or ticketing pages. By creating an account or using these, you accept these terms and our privacy policy.

2. Your studio and us

FrontRow provides software to your studio. Your agreement for classes, events, tuition, refunds and anything else the studio offers is with the studio, not with us. The studio sets its own prices, schedules and policies, and is responsible for the classes it runs.

Your studio may ask you to accept its own policies and waivers through FrontRow. Those are between you and the studio. Questions about them, or about your bill, should go to the studio.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to create a family account. Students aged 13 or over may use a login their parent or guardian invites them to.
  • Keep your sign-in details private, and tell your studio or us if you think someone else has used your account.
  • Keep your contact details up to date so the studio can reach you, especially in an emergency.

4. Your children's information

When you add a child to your family, or invite a student to a login of their own, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian, or have their parent or guardian's permission, and that the information you give is accurate. You can review and update it in the portal or app, or ask your studio to.

5. Payments

  • Payments go to your studio, which is the merchant. Card and bank payments are processed by Stripe, which stores your card details. We never see your full card number.
  • If you save a card or turn on autopay, you authorize the studio to charge it for the amounts you agreed to with the studio, until you remove it or turn autopay off.
  • The studio may add a card surcharge where the law allows. If it does, you'll see the amount before you pay.
  • Refunds and billing disputes are handled by the studio under its own policies.

6. Messages, chat and media

  • You can message the studio, and take part in chats and feeds the studio sets up. The studio can see and moderate what is posted there.
  • Only share photos and videos you have the right to share, and be thoughtful about posting images of other people's children.
  • You keep ownership of what you post. You allow the studio, and us on its behalf, to store and show it to the people the studio shares it with, for as long as the studio keeps it.
  • Texts from the studio need your opt-in. Reply STOP to any text to opt out. Message and data rates may apply.

7. The app and notifications

You can download the FrontRow app from the Apple App Store or Google Play. Your use of the app is also subject to that store's terms. Apple and Google aren't parties to these terms and aren't responsible for the app or its support. Notifications are optional and can be turned off in the app or your device settings.

8. Acceptable use

Please don't:

  • harass, threaten or bully anyone, or post anything unlawful, sexual, hateful or harmful to children;
  • try to see another family's information, or get around the service's security;
  • impersonate someone else, or use someone else's account without permission; or
  • use FrontRow to send spam, or for anything other than dealing with your studio.

You can report or block someone in chat. Breaking these rules can lead to the studio or us removing content or ending your access.

9. Privacy

Your studio controls the information about your family, and we handle it on its behalf. Our privacy policy explains what we collect, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and how to ask for a copy or for it to be deleted.

10. Ending access

You can stop using FrontRow at any time, and ask your studio to delete your family's information. A studio can remove your access, and we may suspend or end access that breaks these terms. Ending access doesn't cancel anything you owe the studio.

11. Disclaimers and liability

We work hard to keep FrontRow available and accurate, but to the fullest extent the law allows it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We aren't responsible for the studio's classes, events, products or decisions.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to $100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or any rights you have as a consumer that can't be waived.

12. Governing law

The laws of the State of Florida govern these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute with us must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it there.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the portal, app or by email before it takes effect, and update the date at the top of this page.

14. Contact

For anything about your classes, bills or your studio's policies, contact your studio. For these terms:
