Classes and enrollment3 min read
Your studio has its own online registration page. Families can browse your classes, sign up one or more children, accept your policies and save a card, all without calling the front desk. New families get a portal login as part of signing up.
Share your registration page#
- Open Studio settings with the gear icon in the top bar.
- Choose the Registration tab.
- Under Online registration, select Copy link.
Paste the link into emails, social posts or your website. If no link shows, set a Public URL slug (the short name in your web address) on the General tab under Region & public URL first.
Choose which classes appear#
Classes appear on the page when Show in online registration is ticked on the class. Untick it to hide a class, for example while you're still setting it up. See Edit, hide or delete a class.
Each class shows its description, days, times and price. Full classes say "Waitlist: spots full" and families can join the waitlist instead.
What families do#
- Classes: they filter by term, age, day or style, then select Add on each class they want (or Join waitlist for a full one).
- Student info: they enter their child's details and their own name. They can select Add another student to sign up a brother or sister. New families enter an email and password, then type in a 6-digit code FrontRow emails them. Families who already have a login can sign in instead.
- Policies: if you have policies or waivers, they tick I agree for each one and type their name to sign. This step only appears if you've added policies.
- Review: they see each charge and the amount Due today. If a class doesn't fit their child (for example the age range), they're asked to change it before going on.
- Payment: they save a card for autopay, or select Submit without card.
At the end they see "You're registered", or "You're on the waitlist" for any full classes. Their schedule is waiting in the family portal.
Ask your own questions#
To collect things like allergies, school or costume size during registration, add custom fields and tick Ask on the registration form. See Keep extra details with custom fields.
Add your policies#
Add your liability waiver, photo release or refund policy under Waivers and policies: open Students in the menu, then choose Forms & waivers. Families accept them when they register, and you can see who accepted what under Policy acceptances in the Records card on each family's page.
What if the family is already in FrontRow?#
When a parent signs in with their existing login, the new students and classes are added to their family. If someone registers with an email that several families already use, FrontRow creates a new family and lists it under Possible duplicates on the Students page so you can merge it. See Merge duplicate families.
Who can do this#
Owners and admins can change registration settings, policies and custom fields.
