Growth and retention2 min read
The Trials page lists everyone booked into a free trial class and helps you turn those visits into enrollments. You mark who came, and FrontRow can send a series of follow-up messages until the family signs up.
Only owners and admins can open Growth.
See your trials#
- Open Growth in the menu, then choose Trials.
- The Trial list shows each guest, the class, and the date. Trials booked from your public pages or by the front desk appear here.
- Use the menu at the top of the list to show All trials or just one outcome.
Each trial has an outcome:
- Coming up: the trial hasn't happened yet.
- Came: they attended.
- No-show: they didn't come.
- Enrolled: they signed up.
- Not joining: they decided not to join.
Mark how a trial went#
After the class, choose Came or No-show on the trial. If you marked the wrong one, choose the other button to fix it. If the family tells you they won't be joining, choose Not joining.
Marking a trial also starts the matching follow-up messages, if you've turned them on.
Set up follow-up messages#
The Follow-up sequences card lets you write messages that go out after a trial. There are three sequences:
- After a trial they came to: starts when you mark the trial Came.
- After a missed trial: starts when you mark it a No-show.
- No decision yet: starts when the first sequence ends and they still haven't enrolled.
To set one up:
- Pick the sequence from the menu at the top of the card.
- Tick Send this sequence.
- Choose Add a step. For each step, set Hours after the sequence starts, choose Text or Email under Send by, and write the message. Emails also need a subject.
- Add up to 10 steps. Each step's hours must be the same as or more than the step before.
- Choose Save sequence in the save bar.
You can use placeholders that fill in for each family: {{guardian.first_name}}, {{student.first_name}}, {{class.title}}, and {{link}} (a link to sign up).
Messages stop once the family enrolls.
Pause follow-up for one family#
If you're already talking with a family and don't want automatic messages going out, choose Pause follow-up on their trial. Choose Resume follow-up to start again.
